"true idol arc" wouldn't be what i'd call it... i'd think idol when its singing/dancing improvement, think about choco, luna, or noel who have vastly improved compared to before in terms of singing and their stamina for singing (notably luna in this regard)

but yes, its a storyline - storylines are good, seeing them improve visibly overtime is always lovely to see. i think you're exaggerating with the "no one else is really doing" part, but thats fine - love makes you exaggerate
the only thing i would like to hear, is hear them admit they like horror games - you can like horror games while still being easily scared by them, because it really seems like they actually enjoy these games - look how immersed in amnesia they were, and that they always play them to completion
