Crypto is in the realm of perfectly balanced. Most Crypto players take too much time on the drone or aren't aware of planting drone, log off, push and then EMP while pushing. Even Sena is guilty of being on the drone for too long which is why she swapped to meta characters.

Not quite, if you mean pinging the banner, there are times where another squad seems to be just short of the range and is able to get to you right away. If you're caught in an active firefight and the escape route is cut off by third party, Crypto has no out which is why I don't like camping or ratting when I play Crypto.

I prefer 75% off the drone, just changing PoI and the 25% of the time on the drone used for pinging barrier, EMP and if heavy scouting is needed(final 5 squads, closing rounds).
