But this literally doesn't play like Pokemon at all. It seems like all the seethe is that people wanted to Pokemon to be something it's not and are happy eating garbage because it has a Pokemon flavor skin. Pokemon needs improvement, yes, there is no doubt about that, but no amount of improvement will make it be like fucking Palworld because that's not what people play Pokemon for. It's like telling someone that FFXIV/FFXVI improved on the rest of the franchise just because they decided to stop making it a turnbased game, which actually pissed off a lot of the core fans to begin with.
