>which is easily solved with some texture and patterning
The sweater will be more textured + the pants will have a pattern, should've included that on the sketch but I completely forgot

>You also may also want more points of high contrast
I'm hoping the small accessories being more saturated will help this.

>whether it's density of information (less toward the bottom, more toward the top) or color design

I'm really hoping and praying that the color design basically being a gradient from saturated green -> duller brown from top to bottom will help with this. I'm not too attached to the sweater color, so if something has to change, it'll likely be that. Toyed with a darker desaturated red but I'm ehh on it.

>I think the symmetry, straight lines, and contrast of the dress shirt flaps around the waist are a bit jarring and could be softened and could be curved to convey,

Honestly, you're right. I think I rely far too much on symmetry and I'm trying to break out of it. I might end up redoing the shirt off of symmetry or bare minimum shading it asymmetrical.

>I will also mention offhand that the shoes would probably do well to be replaced with loafers.
I might have a toggle if this is the case. My design is very much so designed around me and other college students, and god I fucking hate dress shoes

>The vibe is very much conveyed as well, by the way, except that due to the minimal folds and drapery, you look much more stern than the vibe references.

Yeah, I always have resting bitch face, unsure if that'll really change much with shading. Dunno why. My face style always feels weird to me but I've not been able to do much to change it

Thank you for your comments! time to go back to the "shove things around in CSP" stage
