Yeah, it is quite similar in some ways! The biggest difference would be that Quilldren still keep a public face above-ground, and it's one that's generally well respected. They're considered somewhat pretentious but mostly helpful and aren't seen as a threat at all, given their physical frailty. But then they have this whole murder-suicide cult hidden underground. I wanted to give their society a dark fairytale sort of vibe, since Ike is a novelist with yandere tendencies.
