As for your posts in actuality, in a sense, this "timekeeps" it, which is fine, but I worry that it would drastically time keep it too hard making it even more vital to be a NEET for the game or even worse, a server side trader (yuck, cringe... honk won't read this now). mogu himself once said he mindlessly was playing this game in order to maintain his lead, which is deserving but also kinda terrible from a long term satisfaction point as people are likely to burn out. You say it promotes newfags, but I see it in a completely opposite since, you can and always will be able to trade and make larger profits as a richer player, sure, the new players' MPP might be better, but it doesn't matter when I sit at 18k MPP Towa but with 10k shares while PoorChama has 100 shares at 16k MPP, I will make more money than him as I have more coins (if I were to sell Towa) to sell, depending on how players/market actually performs in return to the changes, as it can not and should not ever result in a straight line upwards/downwards on price if someone multibuys/multisells something.
The biggest issue with your idea is that devchamas have also repeatedly said that the actual market performs very differently from what they test and would require a bigger round of testing in order to conceivably do this as pure chaos is pretty fun, but also terrible if you're not benefiting from it, this is not an idea that can be thrown into the blender without actual testing and deliberation, especially compared to more simpler ones dealing with volatility or FIXING THE GOD DAMN MUSIC CHANNEL ADJUSTMENTS.
