It's not that surprising desu. For one, most of her work has been voice work, and then vtubing, so she can do a large portion of that from the comfort of her home. And two, she's not really introverted: In fact I'd say she's fairly extroverted, as can be seen in many interactions with other Holomem. Social anxiety doesn't always go hand-in-hand with being introverted/reclusive/etc. I had an ex who was a very friendly and outgoing person in general, but occasionally something would set off a panic attack, and she needed to get somewhere comfortable and away from people for a while. The brain is a complex and weird thing. For Polka's part, she is a fantastic entertainer, an incredibly supportive peer, and a kind and charming person in general, so it's no wonder she's able to excel in her field so long as she is in her comfort zone.
