Hey hopefuls. Usually I try to be positive and encouraging but this time I'd like to help ground some people.

Applying to Hololive is completely fine and good but I've been seeing a lot of people wondering if they'll make it. Do understand that if you're in this thread and asking, then [You most likely will not make the cut for HoloEN2.]

They're looking for established content creators with a productive track record. People that are already successful and marketable without them having to take a huge gamble. [If you're in the position to pass the HoloEN2 auditions, you already know you have a chance.]

I'm not saying you shouldn't apply, but rather, apply and think of this as your practice round. If you make it to stage 2 auds, then good. You're on the right track. For most? This is a taste of how the audition cycle works. You don't wait for it. You apply and forget.

[HoloEN2 shouldn't be your goal] but rather it should kick off your training like NijiEN did for me.

Think of this as the start of your VTubing career, not the finish line.
