But I don't consider that numberfaggotry at all. Numberfaggotry is masturbating over numbers for the sake of the numbers themselves, pure autism. Using numbers to define the /lig/ subject on the other hand is just common sense. It's just a method of concentrating discussion on an adequately sized subject that neither drowns out specific parts nor divides it too thin to actually hold conversation.
