HoloEN1 doesn't have a designated singer, hence the first thing they did being a quest for English VSingers, they don't have a mom (think Mio), there are several genres of games they don't play, Ina alone is insufficient for the demand for chilltubers, like half of the posts in these threads have been made by people who are more or less knowingly praying for an EN Reine, and so on.
There's also the question of who is going to leave, as the elephant in the room is that music firms, TV channels, voice actor companies, and God knows whoever else that isn't a vtuber talent agency may also approach certain vtubers now that this fad is in the public eye. Consider how unusual is for a vtuber to dream of being... well, a vtuber specifically, as opposed to a professional working in other forms of entertainment.

Nijisanji English could be anywhere from 3 to a dozen, then you have the rapid succession of HoloEN VSinger, NijiEN and finally HoloEN2 auditions, while countless smaller fish disbanded, graduated or otherwise stopped creating content.
Anons will eventually figure everybody out but to say it's complicated is an understatement.

I think the elephant in the room is the Japanese audience involvement with the English branches. I can see people in Japan drawing fanart of Gura, listening to Mori, watching Ina draw and so on.
But would the Japanese ever give a damn about Nijisanji English when they have like 100 native people of theirs streaming in Japanese with basically zero dead hours?
