Looking back on old meme vids, i can see how she was insecure about her voice, it was much more sharp because she used to shout-talk a lot, i might have made a comment early days about it too, i wouldn't be surprised. Pure unhinged joy of virgin vtubing fun voice so to say. Her current tamed voice is really great, i cant recall someone being in that sort of accent/pitch combo or whatever you call it. It's very sweet. I wasn't a big fan of the deeper phase personally. However her showing obvious vulnerabilities like that is a powerful neuron activator for protecting her smile.

I think as a chuba gets bigger, she starts getting exposed to more internet asscancer in general, and yeah it's possible they just straight up don't want to do something so intimate with their audience anymore. Also in fallenshadow's case, she took on a kusogaki persona and ASMR doesn't really fit it anymore.
