I'm not one of her OG fans but I like her a lot.
I can't really defend those thoughts and opinions but it's not enough to be a significant problem for me.
So far there was only that one rowling comment and the recent among us comment.
Both were throw away lines she dropped and in a jokeful tone. She has not gone on any rants on any topic before, she does not make it a part of her persona, she does not virtue signal and has not made it an issue.
So what exactly is the problem? That she believes something shitty? Yeah, ok. And she made two jokes about it ? Well yeah that sucks too.
But it's not a problem.
She didn't have a melt down over the wizard game and anyone playing it, she hasn't complained about anything any other girl has said or done or any langauge they used before.
She's not trying to integrate herself into the shitty rainbow side of the vtuber community.
Like those people are mostly notable for being absolutely no fun allowed back stabbing bitches obsessed with optics and absolute believers of guilt by association and speech policing.
Hime has done none of those things as far as I'm aware. I think projecting all of the issues we may have with other people with similar views on her is unfair if she has not really done those things.
Imagine if you could just delete those two lines of dialogue, she would be perfectly fine.
So I'm not saying "ignore it" but "look past that".
If you can't do that well fair enough, it's your choice. But at least understand that some of her fans might not be ok with it or ignore it but still look past it.
No one's perfect.
