You can't really fault any of them because conceptually, Baldur's Gate multiplayer is really unusual compared to usual fare.

Usually the girls will preface certain kinds of multiplayer games with everyone having already done one independent gaming session so they're not completely lost.
The mechanical need to start the mutliplayer campaign together probably tempered Kiara's expectations in a weird way, and now that realizes it, she's doing that stream tomorrow to correct for it.
