Here's the only image I still have on my hard drive. This specific one hunted by leaping from trees and gliding towards its prey, which was a species of large blimp like creatures that lived in the forests which it inhabited. It would slash them open and feast on their innards using its scythes.

The main line would hunt in a similar way minus the gliding, and would leap onto the necks, or into gaps into the carapace, of large prey before killing them by neurotoxin injection.
