I personally really don't care about vtuber/non-vtuber since I'm used to all the Apex faggots collabing with JP but I do find it a bit annoying how they hype up these "big" collabs and then they are just mediocre at best.
I believe that it would be better if they tried to establish NijiEN as the people smaller guys would try to approach for collabs instead. Since Hololive refuses to collab outside and Vshojo is on twitch exclusively, NijiEN has a real chance of ending up at the top of vtuber chain on Youtube side of things. Prism, Phase Connect, Tsunderia and established indie groups might not be really big but they still have dedicated fans, discords, subreddits, etc who would be talking about NijiEN, e.g. I remember how someone asked Tenma Maemi from Phase Connect if she would try to collab with Nijisanji EN and she answered something along the lines of "do you understand who is Mii-chan and who are LazuLight?" For them getting a collab from NijiEN would be an important event. Instead, every single outside collab so far has been with people whose fanbase will forget who the fuck a Ninisani is an hour after the collab ends and the collabs themselves aren't that good either. It's tiresome.
