Because after she came back from the hospital she 100% intended to quit and disappear from the internet for good. What her plan was who the fuck knows. By pure chance a bunch of things happened using the doxx info anon from /jp/ were buying things from her Amazon wishlist, Chinese fans along with the MASS worked with a Chineze Cover manager to get the fan letters to Aloe delivered to her house, then as she was going around wiping her social media some people caught her as she was going to shut down the mgmgoi4 account and were able to convince her that the whole entire world did not infact hate her and she had fans. These all happened in a very short period of time.

Now Delta still did not actually plan to come back. She believed the fans would abandon her after they got tired of her and then she would dissappear for real after getting some money. Then she got her ulcers and was hospitalized. During this times the fans were constantly sending her encouraging messages trying to cheer her up. There was also a total hero nurse who hugged her for an hour while she cried her eyes out.

So after this she was like I need to at least meet these people who are so nice and willing to pay me for an account where I produce 0 content. So she decided she would do a few streams one was a private DFS thing but that was super short. The first real stream was in November and she was still really shaky and almost started crying to start then she dropped Happy Synthesizer and everyone cried and it was great. After that she actually started to stream. She didn't fully trust the fanbox until the December ASMR stream that was when she spilled her guts about how bad things really were after the graduation. After that she made her New Years post. Then out of nowhere a Christmas Miracle happened and she announced she would do a public stream. At this point she started to say she would get a live 2d though several fans had made some for her which she appreciated.

She was still dealing with a ton of shit and as long as Kusodad was still around she had no realistic plan of going public again...

Then KusoDad graduated himself from the family 4 months ago. Now Something to say she nearly ran away again during The Hiatus. The stress from KusoDad going in the loose and the divorce drained her and she shut down. Luckily some fans had been asking Ruki if things were fine and Ruki's concern caused her to write a letter to Delu telling her how much Ruki and the fans care about Delta. Because of the DelRuki acct Delta saw the message and within an hour of the message being posted she broke the hiatus on March 19th. She apologized to the fans and I think she expected the fans to all leave. Seeing the fans so happy to see her motivated her a ton.

After this she layered up and publicly executed her most dedicated anti who had been harassingbher since August. Almost as soon as she did this she announced another public stream. This was the first time she sang Happy Synthesizer publicly since Aloe's debut.

Coco's graduation changed everything and no longer worrying about her Mom who's condition is improving she started scheduling regular streams.

She decided to do some more public streams. This motivated her even more. Then to her surprise she found out contrary to her original belief. Most of her fans are actually Japanese. After another stint of overlooking herself she hired a manager showing she is serious about this shit. We are here.

Anyway. The short answer is she never planned to become a vtuber again. It is just a graduale incline of motivation, confidence and seeing how far she can go with this. Graduation essentially killed her and she 100% believed her dream was dead. That is why she is so dead set on making it as Delta.
