I'll choose to think the best of other fanbases inhabiting this thread and assume that (most of) the real Chumbuds & Hoshiyomi can appreciate (or at least respect enough to not incite tribalism) each others' oshi's singing during their respective singing streams. I'll give other fans the benefit of the doubt and presume shitposting just to be transient (or more realistically, resident) schizos & shitposters. The post I linked recognizes a pattern to some of the shitposting that occurs during Gura karaokes - that one voice autist start shouting that Gura is objectively better than God at singing". Yes, I can understand the sentiment behind such a statement; it's not unexpected to think along these lines of your oshi. But professing your dedication to your oshi at the expense of putting down someone else's is in poor taste - you almost certainly wouldn't like it if someone did that to your oshi, so why make another anon endure the same fate. Although I cannot say for certain that all Chumbuds or Hoshiyomi do or do not behave like this, you can believe that at the very least, one Hoshiyomi refrains from participating in the aforementioned shitflinging.
