Real answer: I think Mumei is extremely quick at picking up insinuations and has very good intuition for identifying a "bit" in the moment. I think Fauna has much more focus and ability to manage complex reasoning. They're both the smartest gals in Promise but in different ways.

Probably. Off the top of my head, Sapling elders and saplings father along the conversion mostly use forest sense to communicate, so for those living around the deepest part of the forest would have the most linguistic influence from /who/.

We do have some saplings that hang out in /who/. SCUMS refugees are probably in the minority though. If it's kind of a late-onset thing they likely won't make it out of the forests before being caught, other than it being a decently rare condition.
