Its just waiting for the next big thing.

Don't tell anyone, but I'm actually an engineer working on the partnered project between Google and AnyColor, code name Nijisanjification.
We're bringing vtubers to the real world using a variation of google glasses (now rebranded) to allow people to create their vtuber personification in real life and allow others to view it in real time. Now EVERYONE can and will be a vtuber, streaming not only from their computers but every second of their lives. We've all had those moments that happen seemingly randomly that we wish we could share with others, but we just didn't have a camera streaming at the time, and now you can share those tiny moments with all your friends and vtubing audience.

I hope everyone looks forward to our nijisanjification project, coming approx 2024
