I think covering the plane ride would have been a good look, since she really does a lot of the heavy lifting in con appearances (to her own benefit as well I'm sure). The LA hotel was going to be a bad time any way you cut it considering the weekend AX was on. Also, no one else can do the kind of appearances she does in the ORG either. Mel/Nazuna doing an IRL? Rapey schizos. Henya/Haruka? Full blown panic attacks. Zen/Froot? /vt/ schizo confrontations. Mouse? Hospital. "Hime" was there too, but, ya know. Would have been funny if she moderated the 18+ Mel panel.
