I think they were meming, even on a simplistic older test Silver would actually try and probably score higher than Vei.

If you factor in multiple intelligences, Silver would most likely score high on interpersonal and intrapersonal, but so would Hime and Mel, plus Mousey and Froot would pick up huge boosts in musical and visual-spatial respectively for being gifted in those areas, so Silver would still probably end up in the lower half of the group.
