I agree with the rest of your post but this point is hilariously fucking retarded. Not even Soraru was hitting decent stream numbers and money until he went from utaite streamer to Apex streamer and vtuber adjacent, and he's a globally acknowledged utaite with a community far larger than anyone in japan had up until Vtubers really became a thing, barring outliers like Hikakin and that fucking faggot Unko-chan. Meanwhile Reimu's PL is basically a nobody. There was no real growth potential or community there beyond a couple hundred people, and it's not guessing to say she's vastly happier where she is now than where she was before.
