Honestly, sometimes, I feel like I write too much. Like, in my experience, there comes a certain point in the day where you stop producing anything that's actually 'good'; whatever comes out beyond that point is either too troublesome to edit (gotta throw it away), or doesn't really fit the rest of the story at all (at least then it's salvageable somewhat in the future, maybe). So I've been experimenting with ways to mix it up somewhat - write in the morning, screw around in the evening; write 3 weeks out of four; all sorts of things. Whatever that takes my brain out of 'writing mode' and lets it 'breathe', for lack of a better term.

I can't give up writing either; how else am I gonna justify the past months? All that time spent writing...
