I am not ogey and I need to stop watching Hololive.
The Worms collaboration bugs me to no end. Again, for the n-th time, no one does any prep. "Oh get used to it" you say, well it was at a point where I couldn't ignore it. It's been over an year, I've come to somewhat accept that the first two hours of any game will be them learning the most basic shit, but that collab just...hit hard. I don't expect high level play, just some basic understanding of the game (like what the weapons do, maybe play one or two rounds against bots, it's less than an hour of work).
Then there was the Kiara Shrine schtick. Usually I love watching Kiara, but her "Pinkies only" moment absolutely killed the moment for me. What kind of a shrine charges 50$ for luck? Maybe it was the fact that it was a pretend shrine that made the punch, where normally I'd ignore it. Since then it's started bugging me that they pretty much ignore anything not in red or purple, again, I ignored it for over an year, but now I can't help but see it as blatant gachikoi milking. For 15$ I can play FF14 for a month! 50$ is an AAA game. 500$ is a PS5.
Then people keep spamming "I love X", "I miss Y", "BROS I'M NOT GOING TO MAKE IT" and in my spiraling I just see people pulling themselves deeper and deeper into a very unhealthy habit and lying to each other about how much "their oshi loves them".
