I mean yeah, ngl. But the reason Vei got shit was because aside from views on Cover changing over time, some of her opinions were based on misinformation or false claims that she tried to present as facts.
Then when obligated to confront the clip, she doubled down about her words when Cover is viewed in a more positive light nowadays.
People like to say that folks would have slandered her anyway if she apologized or had given a better view about Cover, but I'm pretty sure that people outside of here would have accepted it and she could have saved the collab.
