Reaching out is a mistake when you know you just make the people around you more miserable by existing.
They'll keep pushing you to change but if you don't want to it just creates conflict or makes them resent you further.
I'd rather have them hate me for not communicating than be truly rejected after doing so, which is always what happens.

I'm also desensitized and don't really get bothered by it but I worry it discourages others from posting here when angry holofags will just start spamming cp or doxx for no reason even when we leave them alone.

I also do get annoyed at how badly the jannies treat this thread most of the time. Even during the worst years of /b/ the site felt more welcoming than the last few weeks of /vt/. Being a Nijifag on a Holo-infested board with Holofag mods who give them preferential treatment and leave doxx up for hours is very discouraging. They could at least give us a resident Nijifag janny who cares, even if the rest of the board is garbage.

a lot of the time that sort of thing spawns from a kid being relentlessly bullied or simply not fitting in and retreating from the world through whatever way they can. even if you remove screen devices they'll just bury themselves in books or model trains or some other thing that avoids human interaction so they can feel safe.
i get what you mean though, one of my brothers started high school last year and already has a girlfriend and does sports while i just sat in my room all day at his age.
