Day 17 is idol day and the new Halloween advent cover gave me the perfect time to say この瞬間を待っていた。Though I don't reference it in this story at all, sorry.

>Shiori is in the waiting room
>Staring at the ground, her legs won't stop shaking, her arms crossed over her stomach
>The nerves are kicking in bit by bit, it's understandable, it's her first time
>The other girls of advent are having their turns on stage, singing and dancing
>The twins FWMC and Biboo have already had their turns
>Nerissa is having hers right now.
>Biboo sits next to Shiori and rests her head on Shiori's back
>Her signature smile is plastered on her face as she speaks to Shiori softly.
>"It's okay mommy, you'll do your best!"
>Both of the twins slowly come up and rest their hands on Shiori's legs, reassuring her also with an energetic: "Bau bau!"
>As Nerissa's turn is over, she exits through the back stage and takes a seat on the opposite side of Biboo
>A short break is happening as they prepare for the next
>"My darling Shiori~n, we're going to do great, and then you'll do great."
>Her genmates are all around her, believing in her
>The stage is set
>It's time
>One by one, the girls besides Shiori get up and head towards the stage
>They all turn their heads back to Shiori, worried that the fear may have gotten hold of her
>Their worries were for naught, as Shiori slowly stands up and walks towards the backstage exit
>Shiori stands there in front of the door, one last time, puffing her cheeks, then slapping them with both hands, telling herself she can do it
>"I've got this" she repeats to herself over and over in her head. "This will be for my dear Novelites"
>Shiori feels 4 hands on her back, one from each of her genmates, as they gently push her forward
>Shiori takes the push, and uses it as momentum to walk forward
>She takes the steps and arrives before a huge audience
>100's of thousands of fans, both her own fans, and the fans of others, have gathered to watch her performance
>She's given a mic, and takes a deep breath
>She takes the time to scan the audience before she sings, and for the briefest of moments, it feels as if time had stopped right there
>As she faces towards the camera, and looks at you, right in the audience.
>With a playful wink, towards the camera, and towards you, she says something inaudible
>Her mouth makes the movements, but no sound is heard, however you, as her fan, instinctually knew what she said
>"Watch me, Anon."
>Her nerves seemingly gone, she begins to sing, quickly getting into her element and singing the songs she were familiar with.
>The audience is alight with glow sticks and claps
>Then suddenly, the lights on stage all shut off
>The audience is silenced right there
>You feel worried for a moment
>But then you, and everyone else hear it
>Shiori's voice is now full of confidence, powerful, and she announces with all of her heart.
>"Thank you everyone, we are Hololive English Advent!"
>The lights all turn back on one by one, shining down on the stage
>All five of the girls are together now
>The music starts to flare up loudly
>And then her favourite line comes out, one that you've heard from her many times.
>"Fire fire light the fire."
>With that, both you and the audience erupt into cheers.
