The experience of being a fan of each of these girls goes way beyond what the girl herself can provide, it is also the shared experience with the rest of the fanbase.

The one thing the pilot in that story missed the most was someone to brag about fucking Sharon Stone.
The one thing, from what I can see, that the audience of the departed Holo girls miss the most is the community, people to share the experience.

It's the shared experience that pushes Holos forward, more than any of the girls.
