It's quite real, they have a Discord that requires a twitter account of two years to be reviewed to get an invite and everything. They are often found congregating on the doxxsite, discussing strategies there as well.

The good news is a lot of them are being paid or work for social media damage control companies. Much of the evil stupidity thus isn't real, but manufactured, as there's only so many people who would willingly take the black company's side in this case, without being paid to do so.
