However, it's generally ineffective on imageboards due to a lack of identity and the attitude of embracing ego death, meaning that it has to be made by an outsider or tourist.

It's possible that it's just made by a handful of retards from twitch that read a few marketing books or learned a few tactics who choose to do it for free, but it feels significantly more likely that some ESL poo-in-loos were hired for cheap to spam a few basic things according to a handbook, thus explaining why so many of the posts say the exact same things with slightly different phrasing. With how much money is in streaming right now, hiring the bottom tier shill companies is the exact price range you'd expect. It's not politics-level shill companies that charge by the millions, it's just streetshitters in India working for $2.50 an hour.
