So here's the truth. The REAL truth. Phase Connect is at a crossroads. Gen 1 is an overall success, gen 2 is doing well, and gen 3 assets are ready. Fish is in the unenviable position of deciding long-term company direction and this is the only time he can do it.

I personally consider the path that the fish has seemingly chosen to be a terrible mistake. There is no market for a “mass appeal” or “normalfag” vtuber company. It is a total monopoly, or more like a triopoly completely dominated by the Three Superpowers. Hololive is the priest. Nijisanji is the comedian. Vshojo is the delinquent. Hololive has Idolchads, unicorns and R*ddit. Nijisanji has casuals and China. Vshojo has pornography and Twitch.

If even the delinquent can achieve mainstream success and sponsorship, what do you think that means for you? Where is your place in this market? With the overall market receding, where do you see yourself growing? Heed the thousands upon thousands of failed Hololive clones that fell before you.
