The stutter thing is a common theory because she legitimately has a stutter (it used to be far worse a couple years ago), but she never gave any one reason herself for the TTS. It could be the stutter, it could be privacy, it could be she's hyper conscious of her accent, it could be because she just really wants the escapism of being a completely different person online then irl, or it could actually be because she's a dude cross-playing. Also remember that Zen is in the end, is a massive troll. The conspiracy theories and crazy explanations by people desperate to doxx her or just to explain her existence, might just in the end, fill her with an extreme sense of amusement.
