It depends on what you want to achive. There are couple of ways in front of you:
1.If you have a good enough pc you can go full local
2.Proxies
3.Payed services
4.Free services

For most of them you will need to instal sillytavern, or other taver iteration. Then you will need to decide what backend to use. Do you want to find some proxies, or pay for it. Then you have a card, your character in short, the ones in rentrys in op are best if you dont know what to do. The fastest way to get a gist of it, is to try agnai, the model is prone to looping and a bit dumb sometimes, but its free and uncensored. With proper settings (link in the op for reference) it can work magic.
