and since I'm now angry - that means they're using less efficient compression than what you'd find on even a DVD. compression technology that is genuinely older than most of fucking (You). compression technology that was meant for postage stamp sized 352x240 video.
fucking 30-40 Mbps 900p video that looks YouTube tier. but the middleware they're using is from the stone age, and "smarru Japanizu company purizu undastandu" and they're too stingy to pay the fucking shekel or two for an AVC/H.264 license, at the bare fucking minimum, or to use something unencumbered by patents like VP9 because I guess little Johnny's Xbox 360 won't decode it...
