They are even cheaper than that in some places.
I lived in an apartment complex that was relatively cheap for the area but still quite "nice converted failed condo development and it had a full gym inside it. It was basically my personal gym since it was families and OL types living there. There were maybe 2-3 other guys I'd see in there, and only if I went during normie hours. If I went for an insomniac or "day off" workout I had the place to myself. $10/mo here will get you the fancy gym with the sauna and massage table and shit.

This. Follow the money. Insert that picture that shows how 3-5 gigantic multinational corps (Nestle, Unilever, Kraft, General Mills, etc.) own something like 90% of the brands you see on store shelves.

A liter? That's rookie shit. Picrel.
Yes, that's THREE liters. Pretty sure most major chain convenience stores still run some kind of summer promo on these where you buy it for like $10 and get obscenely cheap refills on it.

The cup and the straw cost more than the soda. The point is to get you in the restaurant/store.
t. public healthfag. the obesity epidemic is very real, and it's partially a product of our foodservice/foodstuff industries
