What I don't understand is why you, as a VTuber, would ever give any attention to someone who is specifically trying to get a rise out of you. Depending on who you are you've got dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of people fawning over on you and you're going to zero in on the rare person giving you lip and give them the attention they're looking for? I don't get it. You lose nothing from just completely ignoring them. Not even replying to them or acknowledging them in anyway. Certainly not by penning an entire song about how they're getting to you. People get annoyed when they put time into something and it gets ignored so ignoring them is the best thing you can do to get back at them. Hell, as the owner of the channel you have ban power so you can even ban them without saying anything about it. Or you could have channel mods who will do it for you so you don't even have to interrupt your stream. I just don't understand why people react the way they do. It can be hard to deal with harassment in real life, but on the internet you have so many tools at your disposal and you don't have to say a word. Why do they let themselves get embroiled in something that is so easy to stay out of?
