That's the jist of it. That friend however is Connor who is the boogeyman of this board. Here's the context:

However the part that was clipped removed the entire context behind the discussion. That clip circulated around /vt/ ad nauseum which led to an intense hatred of Connor.
Connor is part of the TT podcast along with Joey, Joey made a video about Nene being in playboy. Anons lied about the video and said that Joey called Nene a whore, talentless, etc. Since anons were too lazy to watch the clip themselves, they just read biased "summaries" which fueled the hatred for TT even more.
