I'm a hardcore Soratomo. I've been following Hololive since the very beginning, when it was just Sora and her derpy model. I was one of the original 13 viewers, even as an EOP, I became interested in vtubers ever since Kizuna Ai started playing PUBG, which I was still into at the time. I'm membered to every single Holo, even Ayame. I say this as a hardcore Holofag: get over yourself. All Holos are entertainers doing this for either money or views. Yes there are a few Holos like Ina and Noel who are independently wealthy but they still want to reach as broad an audience as possible. The worst part of this is that you think this is something they should be ashamed of. It's clear you've never watched a single stream in it's entirety. Holos literally enjoy every second of their streams, being paid to recite one liners or memes is part of the job. Some Holos do this more than others, it's up to their individual discretion. You're just some bitter counterculture faggot, upset they'll never read anything based and redpilled like "Despite making up 13% of the population" or shit like that. You probably clapped when Mori said lazy knee grow.

Hololive brings in new audience through clippable moments. Fanbases are grown through clips. By default, most people don't speak Japanese, it was translated clips that got Hololive a foothold in the West. Hi Honey, I'm die thank you forever, I'm horny, Botan's poi compilations, Watame Factory, Watamelon, all sorts of now "cringe" clips, brought in new interest, new viewers, and new money to the Holos. Aki was thinking about graduating before that one guy translated and clipped her thoughts on being one of the lowest Holos.

Just as a clarification, no I don't like clipniggers. And if you must clip, you should translate. People who just clip and don't translate should die in a fucking fire. However, how you and I feel personally about clipniggers and overdone stale memes is irrelevant. We don't fucking matter. 4chan as a whole is a tiny corner of the internet, /vt/ is an even smaller part of that. And the clips and overdone memes bring in new people which is ultimately what the Holos want, they want to make more money and reach more people. They don't give a shit about the "purity of the fanbase" or whatever concept you obsess over. Feel free to post that overdone "dilution of a fanbase/hobby" image and say what stage we are on.

Will you keep watching Holos, even as their content changes and evolves? How many times can (You) the average Anonymous faggot, bitch about the direction of Hololive before you drop it completely? Why don't you instead focus on better conditions for the girls, like calling out shit management, instead of trying to make conditions better for your imaginary mind ideal of a perfect fanbase?
