I get that. For me it's definitely my reliance on escapism. Whether it be video games or anime or my own imagination.
But these vtubers blur a line that always kept me firmly connected to reality and it kinda scares me.
Having said that, I still fully embrace it.

If it helps us improve, than is it really a bad thing? Sure one day she'll be gone, it's something I started thinking about more and more the past year, but her influence/effect on us will never go away. Gura's a light that beautifies everything she shines on, and that includes quasimodo-looking motherfuckers like me, and even if that light goes out someday we'll all still be kept warm from the memory.
