I know people will accuse me of being an anti again, but when I watched this it felt like it had something that the current JP girls just don't have. I'm still following them, of course, but this stream reminded me of when the Holos I was obsessed with a year ago were like this.

It's because instead of going 'well, we can't do 3D, let's just give up' they instead went 'we can't do 3D, so let's create something fun ourselves!'. They have so much spirit.

I get what you mean. Lately all the JP's 3D streams feel like they just follow the same patterns and don't feel fresh... I guess there must be a lot of restrictions and it's hard to get projects approved?

You're right, I find the lives fun but they definitely don't feel as fresh lately. That's why I really enjoyed Polka's, Lamy's and Shishiron's latest 3D streams in that they didn't feel like something we'd seen lots of times before.

This sort of spontaniety is the thing you can only really expect from foreigners, huh? Sort of like 'let's do this' -> 'OK!' and it just happens like that.

HoloEN feels like they're pioneering an entirely new concept of Vtuber entertainment, since they're focused on entertaining viewers as an actual performer rather than just as a streamer.
