Fightcade runs off of the FBANeo romset, it's still Mame roms at the end of the day. The JSON script I often tout just downloads them automatically upon "joining" a room: https://lofi.netlify.app/post/fc2-json-pack-auto-download-roms-from-fightcade-2/ Though NES games often don't install (for me at least)
RE: PCBs I've had a couple float in and out of my hands, but, alas I am not well to do enough to enjoy supergun or candy cab gaming. So, I mostly stick to picking up arcade parts new/old and I have been playing a lot more on FPGA platforms.
