I think she's cute, and I like her in concerts when she goes full idol, but outside of that, I don't really watch her.
I don't really know how to explain it, other than that I think there's barely an idol character dynamic in her streams. I didn't really feel that way for anyone but Artia, the only one I could really see as completely divorced from Hololive's status as idol streamers, and I obviously respect Matsuri for going for so long in the industry and being a genuinely great idol performer when the events come around, but it's the closest thing I can describe Matsuri as. Her normal content is as close to a normal streamer I can see in Hololive.
I imagine Nijisanji is essentially filled with Matsuri-likes, but with even the idol stuff removed. But I don't know enough to make a judgement call there.

I don't really recall Festival ever having a big presence over here, to be fair. She's been around, but never really hit the front stage outside of the big shows like Holofes, where she shone bright.
