Stefan Molymeme had a really illuminating talk with a camsite owner, a good portion of it was about the men who use those services; how they're lonely, get obsessed with these women that don't actually care. Stuff we already know just from the stories of twitch simps and mods.

The owner saw one user literally deed a house to one camwhore and the guy tried stepping in, personally called the user to get him to stop burning all his money, a genuine effort to stop the idiot from making a really dumb choice.

It seemed to work--banning the user helped--but the guy was back under a different handle throwing his money at the camwhore.

Moral of the story is those people, the ones that throw money at girls (virtual or otherwise) will do it regardless of what you do to stop it. If it's not at one girl it'll be another.

If it's any consolation, at least they're wasting it on women that'll never actually love them instead of, say, drugs or booze. Still not good, but hey, you win some ya lose some.
