Yeah, it's one of the reasons that many people, including both sayu's fans and sayu herself, absolutely agree that she should have been fired, but the thing that people rally behind is that the termination notice and subsequent blacklistings and slander, combined with their braindead contracts were completely out of line and tarnished her career in ways that were completely uncalled for.
For what it's worth, she's gotten a lot better since then at keeping out those kinds of intrusive thoughts and being more selective with her humor. Watching her since the termination, she's worked extremely hard to reflect on her faults as a content creator and either improve or diminish them.

Sayu's also had a lot longer to get over this. I don't want to arm chair psych her, but at this point I'm just willing to follow whatever stance she takes with this since she's in a much better head space now.
