Long post, but I wanna go into it a bit.

Nijisanji's terrible reputation combined with the general popularity of well liked EN members like Pomu and Selen means people are very willing to tune into the vtuber when they're free of any restrictions and can have as much fun as they want. It's very much a "Oh hey she's out of that shit hole, let's check her out!" kinda thing.

1. They don't have to deal with the rest of people in the old company they never fucked with. I don't blame them, sometimes it was annoying when you just liked one person but had to deal with shitters she worked with in her streams.
2. People in other countries are much more interested in the talent rather than the company. Streamers are quite a big deal all over the world, and most of the biggest streamers are people who are in charge of themselves. We want to support the person we like watching and listening to, we don't give a shit about the company that hired them.
3. The rest of the world doesn't eat out corporation asshole like Japan does. People in the rest of the world are more willing to tell a company to go fuck themselves and we'll make a big deal out of it too.
