ultimately your personality will carry the stream! but a mentality that I took up early on when I was streaming was to "stream like any day you're going to get a massive raid". Going in with that idea forces you to get creative, keep your streams upbeat and fresh, and put yourself into making every stream great. Obviously some streams will hit more than others, but even a "weak" stream should still be entertaining, and your personality should still shine through. if it's not, then that's something you need to develop, as consistancy is pretty big in growing/keeping your audience

There are websites that can download them if you've just got one video you want. If you want to archive, Twitch Leecher is best for mass downloads.

If you want to edit the VODs, I recommend downloading the chat logs too, I use twitch-chat-downloader, which runs on the command line and formats chatlogs as a .csv
