EVERYTHING IS A STREAM
Recall back to the early days of Kizuna and Kaguya. They werent called virtual youtubers for nothing. They do youtubing with a virtual persona. Not everything is a stream on youtube. Short videos, experimental media, MVs, etc. People dont have the free time to stay for a 4 hours livestream. Going back to a 20 minute edited letsplay wouod have the same impact. No community interactions? Fuck you. Look at non-streaming youtubers, the thousands of them. They have a loyal informed community even without dealing with their nonsense all the time.
I’ve been trying to get into vtubers for a while now but none of them (corpo or indie) ever appealed to me for more than a day
I eventually realized that I fucking hate streams
I hate how there’s always like a hour of dead air before the stream actually starts where the Vtuber just reads simp posts one after another.
The viewer interaction means nothing to me. Hell “interaction” is generous when all you’re doing is writing a message that the Vtuber can always choose to ignore. To me all the chat amounts to is the TV studio audience that tells you when something “epic” happened that you need to react to
Then you sift through a longass boring stream where all the entertaining bits last only like 5 minutes long so that clipniggers can get their next video
Everyone on this board always seems to be looking for a Vtuber to fall in love with. Meanwhile I just want let’s plays (like SBFP before they disbanded) with a cute anime girl as flavoring
