I think it's nice that you want to share something that author's fics have inspired you to make. It's a nice gesture any content creator might enjoy.
On a related note, I had been looking into trying NovelAI, since right now I just use BingAI when I have free boosts, and it has some limitations such as properly putting objects in character's hands, and adding appendages such as wings and the like to places like the forearm, so I was looking to branch out. Do you enjoy the output of NovelAI so far?

Took a break from my main WIP over the holidays, but I got some nice progress done one day while I was at the laundromat. It's kinda peaceful to just write in a public space like that. Going to get back to that grind soon.

I might be a minority in that regard, but I know almost nothing about the actual story content of FE. I know there's usually a lot of stuff with gods and dragons sometimes, but saying it's gonna imitate FE isn't going to tell me enough to be able to give any feedback on what you are trying to make.

This portion wouldn't have Nerissa in it, but Reine and Kiara's relationship is something I've been wanting to delve into and correct for a while. So many places, so many forces are at work to keep Reine from scoring, but I reject that future. Reine WILL score.

I agree that you might have fell into that hole of trying to show too much while saying too little. Showing can work in your favor over telling when the scenes have more girth to them and go slower, but your scenes are too fast paced for that, and there is little to no recollection of what happens through the character's voices. It's almost like they just shrug or groan over the last bad situation and move onto the next. You're well on your way to improving by responding positively to the feedback you get though, so keep at it.

I read it as well and these critiques are essentially what I thought as well. The MC seems to really not give a damn what's happening, I feel that most individuals would not instantly start accepting such a transformation and be so accepting of weird circumstance.
I think after the second drink is a good point to bring up any internal conflict he may have as the changes are much more distinct this time around as compared to the first. i.e. control magic or whatever.

I understand this is what you're going for and that the MC wants a new life, but I still find it unlikely that the MC would also just wildly accept a complete change to himself that entirely changes everything they have done in their life. You have to realize that most people would not really sympathize with MC due to him just being beaten down in life, unless you give a decent description of what caused such a beaten down attitude. Being thrown into MC's horrible life, makes it harder to understand his mindset without giving more context on said horrible life. The main idea is that you either should decide to give more context to MC's extreme depressive attitude, or change the MC entirely to allow for previously internal conflicts. Personally, I think internal conflicts makes for a stronger (and easier) story objectively, but it is also your wishes to write the MC however you desire.

I hope I didn't beat you down so much for it, I really do like where the story is going, and I like the steps you took to make the transformation sequence more elaborate.
