Yeah, homage I suppose is a good word for it. It feels very wrong to have them just cut out when things are relatively positive with their departure. I mean, if Silver DID go full retard on her way out that'd be one thing, or if someone got fired for being a total dickbag or whatever, but they left and I think it is important to show that the VShojo model works as intended and keeping them in sort of supports that in a way.
