Yeah it does. Idols retire and become actresses, start some companies or something along these lines. Some continue to be solo artists or join another contract tho the latter is rare since they're a tad old by that point. I think I saw one become a pornstar. Basically most of them retire from being an idol and do some other job with probably some exceptions out there.
